Jennifer Dalley-Dail
Jennifer Dalley-Dail started her dance training when she was 11 years old at Southern Utah University with Burch Mann and San Christopher. As a teenager, she had the incredible opportunity to train and perform with SUU’s dance department, and with Burch Mann’s American Folk Ballet young dancer training program. After a hiatus from dance, Jennifer decided to pursue a higher education degree in dance at Southern Utah University where she continued her training with Kay Anderson, Gwen Grimes, Shauna Mendini, and Lise Mills. During her undergraduate studies, she was invited to become a company apprentice for AFB, and became a company member in 1997. She continued to perform with AFB while she completed her studies at SUU where, in 1999, she earned a B.S. in Dance. Jennifer left Cedar City to attend the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where she earned her MFA in dance in 2002. After completing her graduate studies, she returned to Cedar City where she taught in a number of private dance studios in addition to working as an adjunct dance instructor at Southern Utah University, and Utah Tech University. In 2005 she took a full-time dance educator position at Tuacahn High School for the Arts (now Utah Arts Academy) where she has been for the past 18 years. She is thrilled to join the Cedar City Junior Ballet studio at this exciting time of transition and evolution!
